Husk is a comic that began development when I began the work to reconnect with my Mexican heritage and learned more about Mexica ideologies surrounding the concept of death as it relates to transmutation. It immediately resonated deeply with me and shaped Husk into what it is now - a personal story close to my heart woven together with the love I hold for Mexica mythology.
